The Huronia Urgent Care Clinic is now offering virtual care to ensure that we can continue to care for our patients safely and effectively. These virtual meetings are available via telephone or virtually via FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Skype and we may suggest these options rather than asking all patients to come into the clinic.
Virtual assessments are not applicable for all patients, depending on your symptoms and reason for visit the physician may ask you to attend in person. In some cases, the physician may ask you to visit a hospital or other health care facility if necessary. Once registered, you will be notified of an approximate time the physician will contact you.
We do our best to make sure that any information you give to us during virtual care visits is private and secure, but no video or audio tools are ever completely secure.
There is an increased security risk that your health information may be intercepted or disclosed to third parties when using video or audio communications tools.
